I am gay and I am a celebrant, so that’s where the name comes from as it fits.
I live just outside Bridgwater in Somerset with my partner Dale, along with our cat and dog.

Are we the same?
After attending many generic same-sex civil partnership and wedding ceremonies, it struck me that during most of these ceremonies there was a lack of emphasis on the couple the ceremony was seemingly aimed at.
The same wording is said during all registration service ceremonies. Each couple have to say certain words.
My purpose
The uniqueness of each relationship, the love between each couple and the celebration of their union just seemed standard, and that couldn’t be further from the truth.
So I decided to train to become a celebrant to offer unique ceremonies for all members of our community.
Creative Services
I now have the privilege of working with couples within our community, helping them create the perfect wedding ceremony that reflects their lifestyle, beliefs and everything that is important to them.
Wedding and commitment ceremonies
for gay couples are thankfully now accepted in our society but register office marriage ceremonies can be very restrictive and are not personal at all.
Get together
in a venue of their choice whether it be indoors or outdoors, on a day and at a time that suits them too, with no boundaries or restrictions, including anything within the ceremony that is important to them.
I feel privileged
I have met so many amazing people all with different stories to tell, but all having one thing in common wanting to celebrate their love for each other in a ceremony special to them.
